Pat and I have enjoyed saltwater fishing together since 1989. We have especially enjoyed the challenge of
catching the larger size game, but still consider the smaller species a challenge as well. We love to fish
the long piers that extend out into the gulf, as well as charter boat fishing offshore. We have fished in
Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
In December of 2004, I was on a business trip to Venezuela, and had the opportunity to persure a long time dream of mine--
fish for Peacock Bass. The locals call this fighten' fish the "Pavon". I fished one of the largest man made lakes in the world--Lake Guri.
I caught the 7 pounder you see below, along with many in the 1-3 pound class. I hope to be able to take Pat there some day. I would like to thank my freind
and co-worker, Randall Coker, for helping to make this dream come true!
I want to thank my wonderful wife, Pat, for getting me involved with saltwater fishing. If it were not for
Pat's great assistance while "working" the bigger fish I have caught offshore, we would probably not have
some of the nice trophy catches you see.
Please check out some pictures of our catches below.
