Ch.StaRyder Imperious Wite Nite

Jedi Front View Jedi Side View--3pt Major

The Millennium Falcon has delivered Jedi to Texas, and Rocket City Bulldogs is glad he has joined our warriors. After battling the Darth Vaders of the Southeast, Jedi will now compete for supremacy in the Southwest. Pat and I are very excited about our new addition!

The first thing that jumps out at you about Jedi is his width of jaw. His head and bone are not far behind. Jedi's movement can compete with the best of them, too. He has a personality that demands attention. Before coming to Rocket City Bulldogs, Jedi had already attained 7 points towards his championship, including a 4 point major. We hope to help this 2 year old male complete his quest for that championship title.

Imperious Bulldogs is responsible for the nice pedigree behind this "Wite Nite". Jedi is the son of Ch.Imperious Fearless of Risk, a fine champion and stud dog from Rick & Kelly's kennel. With Jedi's impeccable pedigree, we hope that his father's knack for producing healthy, quality Bulldogs will continue. Jedi is a proven sire with several nice litters already on the ground.

Thank you Peter and Rosemary Jenner for helping Jedi find his way to our home. A special thanks to Rick & Kelly Franz, who co-own Jedi with us, for putting in all of those road miles to get him here. Last but not least, thank you to Suzanne Ryder Baker for making this all possible. "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALL!"

HOT OFF THE PRESS

11/19/00-After spending only one week in Texas, Jedi goes to his first weekend of shows and takes home Winners Dog (1pt) and best of Opposite sex the first day, and Reserve Winners Dog the second day. What a nice start to completing his championship in the Southwest!

12/09/00-Texas has treated Jedi well. His third show in Texas--means his second win and another point toward his championship. 12/10/00-Jedi goes Reserve Winners Dog at a three point major!

01/6,7/2001--First shows of the New Year and Jedi was very competitive. This weekend may have been the toughest competition we have seen in a long time. Jedi placed fourth in a very competitive Open Class on Saturday and then won the Open Class on Sunday--going Reserve Winners Dog. Out of the six shows that Jedi has been entered in since coming to Texas, he has won two shows, took Reserve WD in three others and placed 4th in his class the 6th show.

Jan 2001-March 2001---Jedi has been to quite a few shows, from New Jersey to South Carolina to San Antonio and back to Houston lately. He has consistently won his class but has yet to win another point. Jedi has several Reserve wins during that time. Our warrior had a fatty tumor removed from his rear leg at the beginning of the year, and we cut his coat back so that it would grow in evenly with his leg. No doubt that this has affected his competitiveness. Hopefully, once his coat comes back fully, we will be able to finish this young man.

4/09/01----We finally got over the hump---that long awaited, last major has arrived. On Saturday (4/7/01), Jedi won a large open class (11 very nice Bullies), and then went on to go Winners Dog for his second major (3pts.). We had to drive all the way to Wichita, Kansas to accomplish this goal, but it was well worth it!! Our "Wite Knight" only needs three single points to become a new Champion now.

4/28/01----After taking Reserve Winners Dog at yesterdays show in Montgomery Alabama, Jedi came back to go Winners Dog and Best of Winners today. Had he of won yesterday---he would have been a champion today. Just one point separates him from becoming Imperious Bulldogs 11th homebred champion and our 5th champion. We also have Rocket City's Angel Among Us needing only one more point to complete her championship, which would give us 6 total.

5/20/01----We finally did it. Jedi completed his championship today, by going WD for two points, in Biloxi, Mississippi. We have really enjoyed showing Jedi, and thank Suzanne Ryder Baker, Kelly & Rick Franz, and Peter Jenner for helping make this all possible. This makes Jedi our sixth champion since we started showing in 1997. We are hopeful that Jedi will now produce his championship qualities in future breedings where we will use him.
