Hannah & Skittles were born on May 3rd, 2002. Their mother is Catfish Charley Girls Spears, who is bred by Auttie & Dianne Francis of Po'Boy Bulldogs.
These girls are a CH.Po'Boy's Hoss grandaughter, sired by our own BISS Ch.Rocket City's Hakeem. Keemer's dad was Hoss.
Charlie Girl is owned by Chuck and Linda Spears. The puppy pictures were taken at 7 weeks old.
We feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to add these girls to our breeding program & Skittle's new co-owner's (Dee Germany) breeding program. They have many qualities that we hope they will pass on
to their children. Based on pedigree and conformation, we think they will both do well in the show ring and the whelping box!
The first thing that jumps out at you with Hannah is her red and white coloration. She is VERY flashy. Skittle's is a nice fawn/brindle and white. They both have a very nice barrel chest, along with very good rib spring. These are
traits their dad has been known to pass on. Both girls are short and cobby. One of my favorite features that they both possess, is that they have very nice layback. The width and placement of the ears is also very nice.Their movement
is better than average and the rear structure is a nice improvement over their sire's. Top lines are proper, despite their cobby length of back.
Skittles is a little cleaner moving in the front. Hannah is a tad tighter than we would like to see, but could be worse. They both need better pigment around the eyes, but again, it's not too bad. As is usually the case with
some of our pups, the heads are slow maturing. We would also like to see Skittles have a little more neck. Both of these Bulldog girls have a double coat. The Bulldog Standard calls for a very short coat.
