Nice head--huh?
NAME: Ch.Picabully's Friar Tuck
SIRE: Ch.Little Pond's Chief
DAM: Rocket City's Hershey Kisses
D.O.B.: 11/02/00
BREEDER: Tom and Linda Pickens
PEDIGREE: CLICK HERE

Ch.Picabully's Friar Tuck is from Tom & Linda's first breeding. They had originally planned to breed to Chief, but he was unavailable at the time. They bred to Ch.Little Pond's Pale Rider as a substitute. The breeding did not take, so the next time around, Chief was available and Tucker was a result of this nice breeding. Pat is co-owner along with being part time handler of this "Standard Size" Bulldog. Picabully and Rocket City Bulldogs are looking forward to guiding Tucker to his championship.

Tucker has some very nice attributes that judges should take notice of. From the front view, he is hard to beat. With smooth lines, good layback, and a nice brick shaped head, Tucker will get your attention. Tucker has a beautiful jaw with proper upturn, nice width, and straight, even teeth. He has a solid front with good depth of chest. Tucker's very nice top line comes from his dam and granddam (DK's Rocket City's Carmel).

Not heavy in bone (although adequate), and moving a little cleaner in the front are a couple of things that would have been nice additions to Tucker's overall appearance. He is not strong in rib spring, but as he is maturing, that is improving.

So far (as of 10/12/01), in limited showing, Tucker has taken multiple RWD's, including one at a major show (6 months old). In his first weekend of showing under Breeder-Judges, Tucker brought home a 3rd, 2nd, and 1st from a large class of 7 competitive Bullies. We are very proud to take this "Standard Size", balanced, Bulldog into competition.

NEWS FLASH----On May 4th & 5th of 2002, in Elma Washington, Tucker went WD & BOW's for his first points----and 3 point majors to boot. It has been a long time coming, after being a bridesmaid at several majors and single pointed shows. With his ace handler Linda on the lead, he strutted his stuff to these nice wins. We look forward to getting the good news on Tucker's next wins. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

ANOTHER WIN! Tucker wins another point in sunny California on June 23rd. Nice job Tucker & Linda!!

GETTING CLOSER Tucker was handled to another win in Washington on September 14th. In the process he also took BOS. Congratulations to Tom & Linda.

THANK YOU Judge Helen T. Vitous for awarding Tucker WD & BOW's and his next point in Albany Oregon on November 2, 2002. Tucker is now looking for those last 6 singles.

MAJOR WIN!!--January 19th,2003 Tucker goes BOW'S for a 3 point major, leaving only three points to go for Tucker to become a new champion.

Another win!--February 16th,2003 Picabully's Friar Tuck takes WD for a single point in California. Thank you Judge Beverly Capstick.

A GREAT DAY!--March 8th,2003 Linda took Tucker to Centralia Washington this weekend for some fun and showing. The weekend was not a disapointment. Saturday, Tucker won his class and went on to go Winners Dog for his final two points. This completed Tucker's ride to his championship. This gives Linda her first Bulldog that she has handled to it's championship, also. The day was not finished, though. Picabully's Clementine went WB & BOW's for her 3rd & 4th points at just ten months old. Then, CH.Rocket City's M-N-M went BOB over some very nice specials. It was a clean sweep and a day we all will remember.
