"THE FAB FOUR"

Its time to introduce everyone to "The Fab Four". These pups were late bloomers and we were not sure how they would turn out. At 6 months old they took on the potential to be show prospects. There were a total of 7 pups in this litter, 2 girls and 5 boys.

Orange Crush is owned by Rocket City Bulldogs, along with Linda Pickens. Crusher is very strong in the front with nice tacked on shoulders to go along with good depth of chest. His bone is above average, along with having a nice head size. His rear angulation is nice. Crusher has a nice top line, that compliments his balance. Eyes are dark, nostrils nice, and properly shaped rose ears. Crusher has nice movement in the front & rear. We are very excited about bringing this young boy into the ring. Watch for his BIG debut at the Astro Series Dog Shows in July.

Almond Bark is co-owned with Peter & Rosemary Jenner of Kingwood Texas. Looking for a "doggie bitch"---this girl is it. "Ally", as the Jenners have nicknamed her, has bone to spare. This girl has many nice features that we were hoping to achieve in this long planned breeding. Her head reminds us of her dams. Movement is not a problem for this girl----just watch her float around the ring!

Next in line is Ambush. Ambush has moved to Biloxi Mississippi to live with his new owner. Karen Silver will be taking this sharp looking Bulldog to the shows around the south. Ambush has already made his ring debut in Alabama. Out of three days of showing, Karen's boy brought home three 1st place ribbons, along with a Reseve Winners Dog. Boy are we proud!! When looking at Ambush and Almond Bark, one might think they were twins. We would like to thank Karen for giving this boy a GREAT home, regardless of how he competes in the show ring. On 9/17/05, Ambush qualifies for The BCA Stud Dog Hall of Fame. This is quite an accomplishment considering he has had limited breedings.

Last but not least, is Picabully's RC Prince Albert Of Ascot. Albert was taken to Port Ludlow Washington, when the Pickens moved there in January of 2002. They came across a very nice lady that was looking for a show potential male to put in the ring. This nice lady is Laura Gellerson. Laura has since gone on to purchase Albert, giving him a good home along with the opportunity to show. Albert is a cobby, standard size Bulldog. He seems to take a lot after his mother. If you see Albert and his nice owner, please stop by and say hello.

WHATS HAPPENING AT THE SHOWS?

BILOXI, MS:- "The Fab Four" is off to a great start. The 1st weekend that Rocket City's Ambush hits the ring, he takes a RWD in Montgomery Alabama. Two weeks later, in only his second weekend in the ring, Ambush goes WD, BOW's for a 3 point major in Biloxi MS (5/16/02), with Jeanne Carlson at the lead. Then, on the same day Ambush wins his major, his littermate sister, Rocket City's YT Almond Bark, goes RWB (3 pt major) her 1st time in the ring. The very next day, "Ally" went on to go WB & BOS for a 3 point major. It looks like there could be good things in the future for this "Fab Four"!

MAY 25TH,2002- Ambush does it again by going WD for a single point in Mandeville, LA. Thanks to Dee Germany for the fine job of handling Ambush in LA.

LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA On Saturday June 22nd, Ally goes Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite sex for her second major. This was only Ally's third weekend in the ring. What a great start to her show career.

JUNE 30TH,2002 Picabully's RC Prince Albert of Ascot takes his 1st RWD in the far northwestern state of Washington. It will not be long and he will join his littermates in being a pointed Bulldog.

JULY 19,20,21,2002--ASTRO SHOWS What a GREAT weekend for three of "The Fab Four". Ambush goes RWD on Friday and WD, BOW'S for a 4 point major on Saturday. Ambush, like his littermate sister Ally, now has both majors. Then, Rocket City's Orange Crush makes his ring debut, by going RWD (majors) on Saturday and Sunday. Ally won her 9-12 puppy class all three days and took Best Puppy and a Group 4 in Saturday's Best Puppy competition.

JULY 27 & 28th,2002- Another nice weekend for members of "The Fab Four"! We start off Saturday with Crusher going WD & BOS in Longview Texas for his 1st 2 points. Later in the day, Pat gets a call from Linda letting us know that Albert won his 1st 2 points also--WOW!!! Then on Sunday, Crusher goes WD, BOW's & BOB over a Special for another 2 pts. Now, all members of "The Fab Four" are pointed.

AUG 2-5,2002- Crusher does it again!! This 10 &1/2 month old Bully boy wins his 1st major in only his 3rd weekend in the ring. We also brought home a Reserve Winners Dog. The competition was tough and we could not have been prouder. Three weekends of showing have brought three wins, including a 3 pt. major, three reserves, and a BOB win over a Special. Next show will be at The Bulldog Club Of New Orleans Specialty in September.

AUG 31, SEPT 1 & 2,2002- After going RWD on Friday, Ambush comes back on Saturday and goes WD & BOW'S for two points. Ambush followed up his Saturday win with another WD & BOW's for two more points on Sunday. Labor Day brought Ambush one more WD & BOW"s. The weekend finished with Ambush winning five points. He only needs two points to complete his AKC championship. We want to give a "SPECIAL" thanks to Sandy Bethea, for doing a great job of handling Ambush this weekend. This was her 1st time handling a Bulldog. As Karen (Ambush's owner) would say "Life is good!".

SEPT 6-8TH,2002- The weekend started off with Ambush going RWD at the Bulldog Club of New Orleans Specialty show. The next day saw his brother, Crusher, go Winners Dog for his 2nd major and three more points. All of Crusher's points (10) have been out of the "Bred-By" class. The last day saw Crusher win his class again, then he watched Ambush go from 5th to 2nd after the 1st placement in the Open class, and then after the judged moved the class, go to 1st. The Winners class went to Ambush, giving him his final 2 points in his championship quest. He is the first member of "The Fab Four" to complete his championship, at just under 12 months old. We also want to mention that Ally won her 2nd major RWB in her last two weekends of showing. Congratulations to Ambush's owner, Karen Silver, who is the best Bulldog mom anyone could ask for!!

SEPT 15TH,2002--It was another wonderful weekend for a member of "The Fab Four". This time it was Ally's turn to bring home the bacon. Rosemary did a fine job of handling Ally to a 3 point major in Tyler Texas. This just added to the fun after finishing Rocket City's Gum Drop on Saturday, and CH.RC's Notorious Aki-Bono winning BOB both days. The ride home was GREAT!!!

Sept 27,28 & 29,2002--Three days of Specialty shows in Oklahoma City---Crusher goes Best In Sweepstakes on Saturday, and takes second in the regular classes all three days. Ally starts off Friday with no placement, then Saturday takes a 4th in the tough 12-18 class. On Sunday, Ally takes the 12-18 class but goes no further. Next outing for Ally will be in Humble, Texas. Crusher will head to the BCA Nationals next.

October 5,12 & 13,2002--On the 5th, Ally goes WB & BOS in Humble Texas for a single point. Then on October 12th, Ally goes WB, BOW's & BOB for another point. Ally then went back for her 1st group experience and had fun, but no group placement. Sunday brought another WB,BOW's & BOB for Ally. Ally's second appearence in group resulted in the same results as her Saturday appearence.

October 15-19: BCA NATIONALS WEEK---What a Nationals--YAHOO! 1st, CONGRATULATIONS to Ch.Rocket City's M-N-M for going Best Brood Bitch at The BCA National show on Thursday. Emmy is the proud mom of "The Fab Four". There were only two members of "The Fab Four" at this years Nationals---Crusher and Albert. Albert made a good showing at the Div VI show on Saturday by making the 1st cut. It is always an honor to make any cut at a National show. Crusher surprised us all, though. After making the final cut in the Bred-By class the first day, Crusher went on to take a 2nd place out of the Bred-By class at the St.Paul-Minneapolis Bulldog Club Specialty show on Friday. Crusher placed right behind the WD from The National show that day. Then, at the BCA Division VI show, Crush wins the Bred-By class and goes on to go WINNERS DOG!! Not only was this a 5 point major (beat over 85 class dogs), but it completed his championship requirements. What a prestigous win!!!

November 17th,2002 Ally goes Winners Bitch for another single point. We only need two more points to complete her championship.

December 7th, 2002 Only one more point to go after Ally goes WB & BOS in Conroe Texas!

February 22nd, 2003 Ally went to the show, in Houston today, with the idea of winning. She showed to perfection and came home WB,BOW's & BOS for a 2 pt. win. This completes Ally's quest for her championship. She is now the third member of "The Fab Four" to become a champion. Thank you Peter & Rosemary for doing such a fine job with Ally.

May 17th & 18th, 2003 Albert wins back to back shows, thus, putting him on the prowl for both of his majors. This means he is "pointed out" (9 points). Wouldn't it be nice if Albert would be Emmy's 4th champ from the same litter? This would qualify her for the Bulldog Hall of Fame.

July 12th, 2002YAHOOOOOO!!! Albert wins his first major--a five point one at that! Congratulations on the great win! Linda & Laura & Albert are looking for that last major now.
