Carmel came to us as a Xmas puppy!	Carmel at 8 years old

Carmel came to us on Christmas Eve 1996, from DK's Bulldogs in California. She taught us so very much about the finer points of bulldogging: how to be careful in training, the agony of defeat, and the joys of winning. Thanks to Carmel, we got "hooked" on showing. In her limited breeding, she has given us several wonderful puppies that are pointed.

This girl is one of our more agile bullies. She has certificates for completing her beginners obedience class and her beginners agility class. Pat hopes to some day have Carmel titled on the back end, but raising and showing our other bullies makes that tough.

Carmel is now retired from showing and puppy-making. Carmel makes an excellent 'grandmother' when it comes to puppies and kittens. She has been known to keep both the puppies and kittens clean when their own mom won't. We are also proud of the fact that as of February 2005, Carmel has 9 grandchildren that have gone on to complete their championship. Not bad for a girl that only won two points in her show days. She also gets preferential treatment, which means sleeping in the bed next to mom and dad, or going on those special trips that mom makes from time to time.
