Hi everyone! My name is Angel. I think I could be the prettiest of all the bulldogs that Pat and Ben have ever had----and yes I have an attitude! My daddy is one of the top stud dogs in the country in Ch.Little Ponds Chief, and my mom is Ch. Saltfork's Double A Aggie. How could I go wrong with a mom and dad like that?

I keep hearing Ben & Pat talk about my show potential. They say that I will have to grow up a bit more before they know how good I will be. I also heard them say that it really does not matter how good I turn out, cause I make them happy. As you can see, I am a pretty red and white. People say that I am a good color, to be successful in the show ring, even if it is not the preferred color in the Bulldog Standard. They keep talking about me being flashy. Maybe I will figure it all out someday.

I heard my mom was a pretty good looking champion. Maybe I can grow up and be as pretty as her. Well, I guess that is enough for now, keep checking my page to see how I progress along. Maybe I will have some show results for you to check out someday. In the mean time, I just want Ben & Pat to spoil me.

By the way---check out Double A Bulldog's page. I spent about a month over at that place, and it was pretty cool. Gary and Laura took really good care of me and they have a bunch of Champions that I got to hang around with. Ben and Pat said I was lucky to spend some time with them. Hey---maybe those champions will rub off on me!!

MY SHOW NEWS

  • 11/9,11/10,11/11-2000 (6 months old) I made my show debut at only 6 months old. My first show was on my 6th birthday as a matter of fact. I got to show on grass the first day and then moved indoors on the second and third day. I thought I showed pretty nicely. I won this ribbon that says Reserve Winners Bitch on it, all three days. Benny seemed pretty happy with the results. I thought it was pretty cool seeing all those different types of dogs. It was a small show with only two other girl bulldogs. Showing is pretty neat!

  • 11/19/2000 (6 months 1 week old) Pat got to show me for the very first time today. My mom (Aggie) had told me she is one of the best bulldog handlers around. I got to go in the ring three times with her. I beat the two other girls in my class, first. Then I beat all of the other girl bulldogs for Winners Bitch. Then I got to compete for what they call Best of Breed. I went away with all of the ribbons, after going Best of Breed. I beat my uncle Keemer and another champion bitch. I won two points towards my championship, too. I am very confused about all of these ribbons. Benny was so proud of me and Pat. I saw Pat crying afterwards. I guess she was very happy. I was supposed to be shown one more time in group, but I had to leave for Portland, Oregon to compete at the National bulldog show. Maybe I will figure all this stuff out by the time I get there.

  • 01/07/2001 (almost 8 months old) Ok--its been awhile. I have been busy with the holidays and all, but now its time to update everyone on my progress. The Nationals were fun, even if I had to get up very early every morning. I made the cut several days, which everyone says is pretty good. I have entered four other shows and won my class all of those times. I have changed a lot by "filling out" some more. I am also in my first heat cycle. I know what drives the boys crazy now--LOL!

  • 02/10,11/2001 (Just turned 9 months old) Ohhhh-this traveling is tough. Pat and Linda Pickens drove me aaaallllll the way up to New Jersey for two days of shows. I was entered in the 9-12 month class for the sweepstakes competition. I was kinda lookin for something like sweet steaks--LOL. Anyway, I won my class both days in the Sweeps competition. I was then entered in the Bred-By Exhibitor class for the regular shows. I heard Ben say something about the Bred-By Class being the place you put your best breeding in----HMMMM. I made the cut the first day and then took third in my class the second day. It was a lot of fun seeing different Bullies than what I usually see around Texas.

  • 02/16,17,18/2001-What a weekend!!! On our way home from Westminster, we stopped off in Greenville SC for four shows in three days. I started out by taking Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a four point major on Friday. That was really exciting since I had not ever won a major! I took second place in the Bred-By Class in both shows on Saturday. On Sunday I came back and won my second four point major in three days. Mom is soooo proud of me. I overheard the judge tell Pat that I was one nice bitch. Maybe I will turn out as nice as my mom after all. All I need now is 5 single points to become a champion like my mom. I can't wait!!

  • 04/8,2001--It has been a long dry spell, as far as winning any points goes. I have seen the rear end of a lot of nice bully girls in the past couple of months. I have won my class most of the time, but just could not get that pretty purple ribbon. My first weekend in the Open Bitch class was fun. On Saturday, I placed second in my class to the Reserve Winners bitch. On Sunday, I won the Open Class against some very tough girls. I went on to go WB, BOW's & BOS and get two more points towards my championship. I am quietly sneaking up on becoming a new Champion---3 more points. I will be a year old in May so maybe I can become a Champion before then. That would be a nice birthday present for myself!

  • 04/21,2001---Pat says that I am on a roll. I have won two shows in a row. Today was worth one point. Pat & Benny are getting very nervous about something. Might be about me becoming their second homebred champion. Today I beat my cousin, Bullywoods Steel Magnolia for the second show in a row. She is really a pretty bulldog. I think she will be a champion someday. I hate to beat her, as she is a daughter of BISS Ch.Rocket City's Hakeem, who lives with me. Maggie's day will come, though!!

  • 04/27,2001 So close but yet so far---I am competing in Montgomery Alabama today. It was the first day of a three day show. I got to watch my kennel buddy, Jedi, take RWD. He only needs three points to be a champion. Then it was my turn. I won my class (Open) and then competed against the other class winning girls. Guess what?--I won for the third time in my last four shows. I won one more point towards my championship. One bully girl "pulled" because she only needed a major. If she would have been there--I could have won 2 points and been a new champion. Maybe I will get lucky and win one of the next two shows----stay tuned!!

  • 05/19,2001 CELEBRATE,CELEBRATE, dance to the music! I am a new champion!! It was the most exciting day of my show career. When the judge picked me for Winners Bitch, Pat started crying and was so excited. It was different from when I have won before. The pressure was really getting tough. Yesterday, I was close, as I went RWB to my cousin, Bullywood's Steel Magnolia (Maggie). Boy, has Maggie been winning a lot lately!! I overheard Pat saying that I am the youngest champion that they have finished. I guess I did pretty good by finishing at 1 week over a year old. I think I am going to try my luck in the Special ring when I get a little older. I may not be able to sleep tonight--LOL.

  • 05/21,2001 Today, Rosemary Jenner handled me to a Best of Opposite Sex win in Biloxi. She did a wonderful job and I actually behaved for her. I beat a Nationally top twenty ranked bitch in the process. Maybe I do have a future as a Special. Thanks for the nice handling job Rosemary!

  • 06/02,03,2001 I had a very nice weekend as a Special. Pat went to the show a half hour early on Saturday to "bump me up". That means that I got to compete with the champions. There were four total champions, including another bitch champ. Both days the judge gave me Best of Opposite Sex. I had a lot of fun and also got to watch my cousin, Bullywood's Steel Magnolia go RWB, both days. I also got to see my half brother, Picabully's Friar Tuck (sired by Ch.Little Ponds Chief) take RWD on Saturday and almost get RWD again on Sunday. He is only 6 months old. Both days it was a three point major for the boys. My next show will be at the VERY BIG show at the Astro Hall in late July. Watch for me then!
